Portfolio Account Executive

Reports to the Director of Insurance Operations & Claims
London Office


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a balance of proven sales ability, customer service expertise, communication and technical skills to join our Personal Lines Sales Team. This role focuses on cross line selling of our existing client portfolio.  Your positive outlook and professionalism are prerequisites to work with our dynamic team.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Generate new business sales through effective prospecting and cross line selling of existing clients
  • Provide exceptional insurance advice to clients
  • Able to identify insurance needs and define appropriate coverage for clients
  • Negotiate terms with underwriter on new business accounts
  • Obtain required continuing education hours

Position Requirements

  • Proven sales skills
  • Minimum 2 years Personal Insurance experience
  • RIBO License required
  • University Degree or College Diploma, CAIB and/or CIP designation an asset
  • Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines
